18. इस्राएलमधल्या प्रत्येकाने त्याच्या वाट्याची जमीन घेतल्याशिवाय आम्ही परत येणार नाही.

20. तेव्हा मोशे त्यांना म्हणाला, “जर तुम्ही या सर्व गोष्टी केल्या तर हा प्रदेश तुमचा होईल. परंतु तुमच्या सैनिकांनी परमेश्वरासमोर लढाईत उतरले पाहिजे.

21. तुमच्या सैन्याने यार्देन नदी पार करून शत्रु सैन्याला या प्रदेशातून हाकलले पाहीजे.

21. And will go H5674 all H3605 of you armed H2502 over H853 Jordan H3383 before H6440 the LORD H3068 , until H5704 he hath driven out H3423 H853 his enemies H341 from before H4480 H6440 him,

22. सगळा प्रदेश घेण्यासाठी परमेश्वराने आपल्याला मदत केली की तुम्ही घरी जाऊ शकता. नंतर परमेश्वराला आणि इस्राएलला तुम्ही पापी आहात असे वाटणार नाही. नंतर परमेश्वर तुम्हाला ही जमीन देईल.

22. And the land H776 be subdued H3533 before H6440 the LORD H3068 : then afterward H310 ye shall return H7725 , and be H1961 guiltless H5355 before the LORD H4480 H3068 , and before Israel H4480 H3478 ; and this H2063 land H776 shall be H1961 your possession H272 before H6440 the LORD H3068 .

23. पण जर तुम्ही या गोष्टी केल्या नाहीत तर तुम्ही परमेश्वराविरुद्ध पाप कराल आणि तुमच्या पापाबद्दल तुम्हाला शासन होईल याची खात्री बाळगा.

23. But if H518 ye will not H3808 do H6213 so H3651 , behold H2009 , ye have sinned H2398 against the LORD H3068 : and be sure H3045 your sin H2403 will find you out H4672 H853 .

24. तुमच्या मुलांसाठी शहरे बसवा आणि जनावरांसाठी गोठे बांधा. पण तुम्ही वचन दिल्याप्रमाणे सारे काही करा.”

28. याप्रमाणे त्यांनी वचन दिले. ते मोशे, याजक एलाजार, नूनाचा मुलगा यहोशवा आणि इस्राएलचे सर्व कुटुंबप्रमुख या सर्वांनी ते ऐकले.

33. तेव्हा मोशेने ती जमीन गादच्या, रऊबेनच्या लोकांना आणि मनश्शेच्या कुटुंबातील अर्ध्या लोकांना दिली. (मनश्शे योसेफचा मुलगा होता.) त्या प्रदेशात अमोऱ्याचा राजा सीहोन आणि बाशानाचा राजा ओग यांच्या राज्याचा त्या भूमीत समावेश होता. त्यांत आजुबाजूच्या प्रदेशातील शहरे होती.

And Moses H4872 gave H5414 unto them, even to the children H1121 of Gad H1410 , and to the children H1121 of Reuben H7205 , and unto half H2677 the tribe H7626 of Manasseh H4519 the son H1121 of Joseph H3130 , H853 the kingdom H4467 of Sihon H5511 king H4428 of the Amorites H567 , and the kingdom H4467 of Og H5747 king H4428 of Bashan H1316 , the land H776 , with the cities H5892 thereof in the coasts H1367 , even the cities H5892 of the country H776 round about H5439 .

35. And Atroth H5852 , Shophan H5855 , and Jaazer H3270 , and Jogbehah H3011 ,

|
36. बेथनिम्रा आणि बेथ-हारान ही शहरे वसवली. त्यांनी शहराभोवती तटबंदी उभारली आणि त्यांच्या जनावरांसाठी गोठे बांधले.

38. And Nebo H5015 , and Baal H1186 -meon, (their names H8034 being changed H5437 ), and H853 Shibmah H7643 : and gave other names H7121 H8034 H853 H8034 unto the cities H5892 which H834 they built H1129 .

39. माखीरच्या कुटुंबातील लोक गिलादला गेले (माखीर मनश्शेचा मुलगा होता.) त्यांनी त्या शहराचा पराभव केला. तेथे राहणाऱ्या आमोरी लोकांचा त्यांनी पराभव केला.
