Leviticus 3:1 (ERVEN) Easy to Read - English

1 "If you offer one of your cattle as a fellowship offering, whether it is a bull or a cow, it must have nothing wrong with it.
2 You must put your hand on the animal's head and kill the animal at the entrance of the Meeting Tent. Then Aaron's sons, the priests, will splash the blood on all four sides of the altar.
3 The priest will take a part of that fellowship offering as a gift to the Lord. He will take the fat that is over and around the inner parts.
4 He will take the two kidneys and the fat covering them near the lower back muscle. He will also remove the fat part of the liver that is near the kidneys.
5 Then Aaron's sons will bring the fat to the altar and put it on the burnt offering that is on the wood on the fire. It is a sweet-smelling gift to the Lord.
6 "If you offer a sheep or a goat as a fellowship offering to the Lord, whether it is a male or a female, it must have nothing wrong with it.
7 If you bring a lamb as an offering to the Lord,
8 you must put your hand on the animal's head and kill it in front of the Meeting Tent. Then Aaron's sons will splash the animal's blood on all four sides of the altar.
9 The priest will take part of the fellowship offering to the altar as a gift to the Lord. The priest must cut off the tail close to the backbone. Then he will offer the whole fat tail and the fat that is over and around the animal's inner parts.
10 He will also offer the two kidneys and the fat covering them near the lower back muscles. He will also offer the fat part of the liver. He must remove it with the kidneys.
11 Then the priest will take that part to the altar to be burned up as food, a gift to the Lord.
12 "If the offering is a goat, you must bring it before the Lord.
13 You must put your hand on the goat's head and kill it in front of the Meeting Tent. Then Aaron's sons, the priests, must splash the goat's blood on all four sides of the altar.
14 The priest will give part of the fellowship offering as a gift to the Lord. He will offer the fat that is over and around the animal's inner parts.
15 He will offer the two kidneys and the fat covering them near the lower back muscle. He will also offer the fat part of the liver. He will remove it with the kidneys.
16 Then the priest will bring that food as a sweetsmelling gift to the Lord. The fat belongs to the Lord.
17 This rule will continue forever through all your generations. Wherever you live, you must never eat fat or blood."

3 And he shall offer H7126 of the sacrifice H4480 H2077 of the peace offering H8002 an offering made by fire H801 unto the LORD; H3068 H853 the fat H2459 that covereth H3680 H853 the inwards, H7130 and all H3605 the fat H2459 that H834 is upon H5921 the inwards, H7130
4 And the two H8147 kidneys, H3629 and the fat H2459 that H834 is on H5921 them, which H834 is by H5921 the flanks, H3689 and the caul H3508 above H5921 the liver, H3516 with H5921 the kidneys, H3629 it shall he take away. H5493
5 And Aaron's H175 sons H1121 shall burn H6999 it on the altar H4196 upon H5921 the burnt sacrifice, H5930 which H834 is upon H5921 the wood H6086 that H834 is on H5921 the fire: H784 it is an offering made by fire, H801 of a sweet H5207 savor H7381 unto the LORD. H3068
6 And if H518 his offering H7133 for a sacrifice H2077 of peace offering H8002 unto the LORD H3068 be of H4480 the flock; H6629 male H2145 or H176 female, H5347 he shall offer H7126 it without blemish. H8549
7 If H518 he H1931 offer H7126 a lamb H3775 H853 for his offering, H7133 then shall he offer H7126 it before H6440 the LORD. H3068
8 And he shall lay H5564 H853 his hand H3027 upon H5921 the head H7218 of his offering, H7133 and kill H7819 it before H6440 the tabernacle H168 of the congregation: H4150 and Aaron's H175 sons H1121 shall sprinkle H2236 H853 the blood H1818 thereof round about H5439 upon H5921 the altar. H4196
9 And he shall offer H7126 of the sacrifice H4480 H2077 of the peace offering H8002 an offering made by fire H801 unto the LORD; H3068 the fat H2459 thereof, and the whole H8549 rump, H451 it shall he take off H5493 hard by H5980 the backbone; H6096 and the fat H2459 that covereth H3680 H853 the inwards, H7130 and all H3605 the fat H2459 that H834 is upon H5921 the inwards, H7130
10 And the two H8147 kidneys, H3629 and the fat H2459 that H834 is upon H5921 them, which H834 is by H5921 the flanks, H3689 and the caul H3508 above H5921 the liver, H3516 with H5921 the kidneys, H3629 it shall he take away. H5493
11 And the priest H3548 shall burn H6999 it upon the altar: H4196 it is the food H3899 of the offering made by fire H801 unto the LORD. H3068
12 And if H518 his offering H7133 be a goat, H5795 then he shall offer H7126 it before H6440 the LORD. H3068

17 It shall be a perpetual H5769 statute H2708 for your generations H1755 throughout all H3605 your dwellings, H4186 that ye eat H398 neither H3808 H3605 fat H2459 nor blood. H1818
